They got started with performing and teaching in the Asbury Park area of New Jersey before relocating to Central PA in 2007. Dani has worked with some of the area’s most talented artists and bands, on stage and in the studio, across a variety of genres, including: Shawan and the Wonton, Carly Clark, The Wild Hymns, Janie Womack, Julie Moffitt, Kevin Bock, Tenny and the Headroom, Indian Summer Jars and more! Dani regularly performs with David M. Glasgow at the Unitarian Universalists of the Cumberland Valley in Boiling Springs. Dani is also a regular performer at Open Stage of Harrisburg for shows like “Court Street Cabaret” and other musical theater productions. In 2015, Dani created “Life in Rhythm” - a program of hands-on, educational, connective group drumming experiences designed to benefit ALL people regardless of musical ability. They facilitate drum circles in which participants are encouraged to have fun, find relief from stress and anxiety, and practice fearless self-expression while exploring group music making. At Just Plain Yoga Studio in Lemoyne, Dani co-facilitates a combination Yoga and Therapeutic Sound workshop where participants use sound, rhythm and vibration as a meditation aid and wellness tool along with breath and body movement. Dani’s teaching style is intuitive and focused on finding the fun in learning your instrument as opposed to “reading the page perfectly.” Dani believes that the excitement and fascination with music, and the way it can make us feel, is what keeps us coming back to it. Outside of music, Dani is pursuing a degree in Psychology while finding as much time as possible to hike, bike and camp. “I’m honored to walk your musical journey with you, whether your goal is to perform live on stage, or play for relaxation and wellness – either way, becoming your best self never sounded so good!” -D.
